Lohi and I have been working enthusiastically over the past few weeks (ever since we first concocted the idea) on getting more stores listed on our guide to keep the content fresh and useful, Lohi though I should say has been working the hardest being our “PR guy” talking to stores and getting them interested and now just talking about the specifics which we hope should go smoothly so we can include them within the next few days
Though it should be said that most our local stores aren’t very familar with this concept of listing their products on a “guide” and convincing them of the benefits sometimes takes a little more effort. So I’d just like to ask if anyone of you have contacts within the industry or you yourself represent a consumer electronic / computer store to please contact us – we’d really appreciate it!
Thanks for being patient and supporting our effort…and using our site most of all

Firstly I’d like to thank everyone for making our launch a success!!
We got a stream of visitors directed to our site from the various posts we made like that on gamer.lk, elakiri.lk, deathcompany.com and of course from facebook where we ran our “next.BIG.thing” (officially re-named to “the sri lankan tech guide”) campaign from

Speaking of wishes, I’d have to say that one thing I’d love to have would definitely be a new camera, particularly the Canon EOS 500D a.k.a. the Canon Digital Rebel T1i.
This baby would go really well with my Dad’s old lenses / flash gun / tripod, but I’d need to get a lens mount convertor. Still, would be worth it. Man I sooo wanna get that! Anyone willing to donate the above to a budding photographer?

Just uploaded some prices from E-Globe Solutions, the first to be added was Computer.lk – we’re hoping to get the ‘not-yet-online’ stores to submit their price lists to us for inclusion hopefully by the end of next week – will have to setup some meetings. Though atm it’s looking quite neat – and can’t wait to add some more stores and features
And if you’d read my previous post I might just find that keyboard buried down in some price list – fingers crossed ;D

Natural® Ergonomic Keyboard 4000.
Having stayed up late working on the site for now 2 days straight my wrists are starting to ache :S So I’m in the market for a new ‘ergonomic’ keyboard to replace my old Logitech standard keyboard (which now looks terrible after years of hacking at it). I’m also in the market of a new mouse nothing special – I’m eyeing the standard Wheel Mouse Optical from Microsoft
I’d like to buy it here…if I can find it :S will update this post again if I do
